Nora S. AlGosaibi (b.1994, AlKhobar) is an artist, researcher and curator.

 

Nora holds a master’s degree in Fine and Decorative Arts and Design from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London (2019) and a bachelor’s degree in International Management in the Middle East and North Africa from SOAS in London (2017). Throughout her years abroad, AlGosaibi took courses on Theories and Methods in Asian and African Art at SOAS, Curating Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s, and Art and Politics: From Dada to present at Central Saint Martins in London. Nora’s research focuses on Islamic Art, Archaeology, Orientalism in Art, and Modern Saudi Art History.

In 2012, AlGosaibi became one of the top ten winners of Edge of Arabia’s Create and Inspire Award. Her work as an artist focuses on how we see the world and how understanding history can create a different vision and outlook towards the future. She explores this through her photography works, collages, and drawings. AlGosai- bi interned at Robilant and Voena Gallery in London and is currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
